Spent a couple of hours waiting for the Bearded Tits to show at Burton Mere Wetlands this afternoon. A single female showed, but too briefly to get a picture.
Supporting cast of Cetti’s Warbler, Little Grebe and Reed Bunting were a nice distraction.
Also a Nutchatch taking more than one seed back to it’s stash, and 100+ Avocet on the pools. Couldn’t get on to the Long-tailed Duck though 🙁
